Rain was the cause as LA County and LA city firefighters battle a huge fire involving up to five big rigs inside a tunnel after a major accident on a rain-slicked Golden State Freeway in northern Los Angeles County.
The the accident occurred just before 11 p.m. in Interstate 5's truck-only tunnels that run under the regular freeway near the intersection with the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway. At this time it's not known how many victims there are but the corner has been called to the scene on standby.
