Members of the Lancaster Station Burglary Suppression Team while patrolling in the area of an industrial complex in the 42200 of 6th Street West, Lancaster, smelled the strong odor of Marijuana coming from one of the buildings from within the complex. Further investigation lead deputies to believe that Marijuana was being grown within the building. Burglary team members obtained a search warrant for the location, and upon serving the warrant discovered a sophisticated hydroponic Marijuana growing operation inside. Discovered were approximately 600 Marijuana plants. The plants are estimated to have a street value of over one million dollars. During the investigation, one suspect was detained at the location, identified as Nazar Daniyelyan 43, and he was subsequently arrested and charged with cultivation of Marijuana and possession of Marijuana for sale. He is currently being held at Lancaster Station with a $100,000.00 bail. The investigation is ongoing.
