PASADENA--Egypt issued two stamps last year (June 14, 1998) with the likeness of Ahmed Zewail, the Linus Pauling Professor of Chemical Physics and professor of physics at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. The stamps were issued to tribute to Zewail's scientific achievements.
