19th CCEJ annual Interfaith/Intercultural Breakfast
LONG BEACH, CALIF. -- John D. Maguire during the 19th CCEJ Interfaith/Intercultural Breakfast in Downtown Long Beach, Calif. on February 24, 2010. John Maguire was a colleague of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and became a life director of the King Center, serving in its initial year (1968-69) as chair of the board. He was one of the original freeom riders in 1961.
The CCEJ is a human relations organization dedicated to eliminating bias, bigotry and racism in America and promoting understanding and respect among all races, religions and cultures through education, conflict resolution
