Longfellow Elementary School slimming
LONG BEACH, CALIF. USA -- Minerva Chairez, left, and Karla Navato dump slime on Longfellow Elementary school teacher Joseph Sarabia on May 27, 2010, as a reward for reading over 250,000 minutes outside of school in Long Beach, Calif. Sarabia has issued the challenge to his fourth grade classes for the past eight years but this was the first time they completed the task. The class has now read almost 300,000 minutes. The 36 students made the slime from Borax, Elmer's Glue, food coloring and water.
