04/11/10: Mike Letteriello, right, curator of Prisk Elementary School Native Plant Garden, point out a cluster of Owl's Clover, Mohave Blue Bells, and Blazing Star to visitors of the garden's open house on Sunday, April 8, 2010. The Prisk Native Plant Garden originally open in 1995 converting a 7500 square foot section of the school's playground. The garden is a recreation of a cross-section of California landscape from the beach to the desert, identifying eight native plant groups with most coming from Southern California.
