World AIds Day
LONG BEACH, CALIF. USA -- A visitor to the (RED) rally waves a glow stick in Downtown Long Beach, Calif. on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in recognition of Worlds AIDS Day
Several of the city's most notable structures were scheduled to be lit with red lights. The fountain at the Performing Arts Center and the tip of the Breakers building lit as planned. But a few other landmarks didn't fare so well, the Security Building and the clock tower on Pine Ave were scheduled to turn red, but didn't. The former Spruce Goose Dome did lite red.
